An original background color concept from the Warner Bros. Studios animated series, "Tiny Toon Adventures" (1990-1994). Featuring vehicles racing the roadways of a futuristic cityscape, the hand-painted concept art was created at the studio by legendary artist and animator Walt Peregoy and used during the story development process. The painting is from the "Real Kids Don't Eat Broccoli" segment of the episode titled "Return to Acme Acres Zone," which aired on February 4,1991. The concept was used to develop and finalize the color palette, layout of the action, and the overall feel of the scene. When a color concept is finalized during production, it becomes the reference tool that animators use to paint cels and backgrounds, as well as to further progress through the storyboarding and layout of the individual scenes. Measuring 8"x25.5" overall, with the image itself measuring 5.5"x20.75", the painting is in very good condition with minor paint wear, one cel layer sticking slightly to the painting on the board, and slight discoloration to the board itself.
